Hi and welcome to the forum. If you want to ask questions then you've come to the right place and we are happy to answer them. If you haven't bought any kit yet then my advice would be to take your time and if possible, try and get along to a couple of free public outreach events that are typically organised by your local astro club. It will give you the opportunity to have a look through different types and sizes of kit as well as ask questions regarding the setup and possible cool down times, portability, collimation etc. There is no rush to get any kit as the stars aren't going anywhere.
