The Hunter in the Lime light

Recommended Posts

Well it's not Lime light really, it's the street light at the bottom of my garden. Anything to the East of my patch is a no go area for imaging so I'm always a month behind when the goodies of Autumn come on the scene. It's either that or getting up at stupid o'clock in morning. I should have know better of course but I couldn't resist an attempt at Orion last night as he arose and began his march westward.

There's no fool like an old fool. :insects1:

Thanks again KK.

If I'm using a scope I can normally take up a postion in a corner of the garden formed by the shed and the East facing fence which reduces the orange peril in that direction and hides the tungtun street lamp to the SE. This is OK but does exclude low altitude objects from view. I just have to wait for those to move up round toward the South and West.

Let's face it,all in all it's a pretty rubbish site. :D

Cheers
