I was fortunate to be invited to film an art project at the Armagh Planetarium. The event was part of an art project to celebrate the Arrival of Comet Panstarrs C2011/L4. The Fine Arts students from Ulster University were at the Orrery. They had made planetary bodies to represent planets, asteroids and the Panstarrs comet. The day was a good laugh and we were treated to a superb Q&A session on comets and the Universe in general from the Planetarium director Prof Mark Bailie. Also a nice lunch.

It was great as students got to know a little of how the science behind comets works and the Planetarium staff got to see some aspects of the students art work.

Below are a few stills from the day and a video. We had to blow up Saturn as it lost a bit of gas on the day:)
