Starlight Xpress slave guider question

I have now sold my H9 to MikeD, but as he already has a working guiding system he didn't need the guidehead. I was wondering whether its possible to use the slave guidehead as a standalone guider? Its really light and so would be great for travel with an OAG.

Any ideas gratefully received!

I would be keen to hear some views on this, as I also have one of the little SXV autoguiders but generally use a QHY5 instead.

Update: Terry Platt has said that they no longer make the USB box that supported the guider as a stand-alone guider. That's a shame, so its off to the classified....
