March 2013 Telescopic (and one binocular) Comets

Sorry for the late post (other hobbies drew me away from this one).

In the news is the naked eye comet Panstarrs if you have a clear view of the western horizon just after sunset.

I saw it on the 13th, low but bright enough,sadly we have had cloud in that area ever since thought the rest of the sky has been clear, odd.

Congrats Alan! Nice to see some people are seeing the comet. Most people who have not yet are in the U.K. where clouds rule I bet most people are expecting a bright white blob with a long tail but alas, it's harder to find and detect than that.

Luckily a few of us in the UK have had some fleeting views. There are nearly as many threads on Panstarrs as on ES ! andrew
