Clicking on it gives the full HD image of m101. Its a 62MB image that crashed opera although it opened fine in firefox. Impressive detail and as far as I can tell its more detailed even than the HST deep fields. Was wondering what is the highest resolution pic the HST (or other optical scope) has taken of distant stuff in the universe?

Amazing. I recall a HST deep field image that was on S@N cover disk showing an area of galaxies in Fornax. You just kept zooming in and in and in revealing more and more galaxies further and further into the universe. Breathtaking and beautiful. If anyone finds that image please post! :)
