Hi everyone.

I noticed (on 7timer) that the skies look pretty clear this weekend.

Is anyone about? I was wondering about Bignor, so long as the moon rising at about midnight doesn't put anyone off.

Judging from the amount of cloud coming in (on sat24 infrared) it looks unlikely to me but good luck anyway!

I can't make it either A bit of time in the street lamp lit back garden is about as good as it'll get tonight sadly. Still, something is better than nothing I guess!

I'm afraid we have friends round for supper tonight, so I nipping out to the garden is about as much as I will get. Unsuspecting guests could be in for a treat!!!

I managed to get out for about 2 hours before it clouded over last night. A pretty good, if short, night and in bed at a reasonable time to boot!

Nice one. I got the scope out but only managed about 15 or so mins on Jupiter before it rolled in. Short and sweet and like you say, in bed at a reasonable time

Please can you let me know where you go in Bignor please? I had about 20 minutes out with my daughter last night, which was pretty much first light with my 10 x 50s, but would love to get away from the LP.

I don't know exactly where it is myself as I haven't been there yet but I do know it's not too far from the Roman Villa (you go past it and up the hill a bit I think).

Sorry that's not too much help but it kinda gives the rough location.
