Hi , I live in Southern Hemisphere , and now have to choose between two scopes , a 8" edge Sct celestron , or meAde series 6000 115mm APO . What scope is going to give me the most versatility/best for imaging ?

One thing to be careful with the 8 inch Edge is to check that you will have a suitable focal reducer, as the native F10 would be very, very slow for DSO imaging. I don't think Celestron has released the dedicated reducer for the 8inch edge yet (i'm wanting one!).

What camera would you be using?
