Webcam settings for best Lunar pics ?

Hi all.

I'm at complete novice at this and I'm looking for some advice. I have downloaded Sharpcap but haven't a clue as to what settings I should enter in the Video Control Panel section.

The webcam I have is a cheap £9.99 one the details of which are below.

Any help from you guys would be much appreciated. Alan.

Part of the fun of webcam imaging is finding what settings suit your camera and telescope for the target in question. As the camera supports USB 2 then on the Moon I think you could go for a fairly short exposure low-gain setting, but it's really a case of experimentation, especially if you're using a camera that no-one else has tried.

Thanks James, I suppose that's the way to go. I'll have afiddle with it and be able to watch how the image changes on the screen and see what looks best. Cheers.
