Hi all, I am really pleased I got my scope out tonight I think I managed to capture some nice images of Jupiter the GRS was just off the disk but the trailing storms were still visable along with the moons and Io just peeping out from Jupiter was a real bonus.

Camera was Creative LIve cam Web cam scope was SW150PL some were taken with the barlow others not, most were approx 1200 frames at 10 fps pre run in PIPP then stacked in Registax6 best 90% kept due to pre screening in PIPP.

Some nice images there, no wonder you are pleased. Io was transiting Jupiter and you caught it just before it crossed the disc.

Try more frames, check the focus and select the best 95% or there abouts. Around 800 -1000 frames is good, selected from 90% or more quality is usually good. Try to go for as higher frame rate as possible, the faster exposure and higher frame rate will give you the best results. You might wan to up the gain to get a higher frame rate.

I was plagued by cloud once Io was transiting and had tout up with variable brightness and distortion.
