Naemeth
A parcel I was expecting arrived nice and early today, and I've spent most of the day trying to work it out. Some pictures:Can you tell what it is yet?Not really obvious still ....Just teasing There's my new (well, used) Canon 350D that I bought off of another SGL member (Tim). I'll probably need a lot of questions answering over the next few days . Any general tips on using the Camera, should I just do a lot of practice in the daytime with taking general shots? Anything I desperately need to know?
sloz1664
Hi naemeth,I suggest you source the book "Making Every Photon Count" written by one of our members Steppenwolf. It is a brilliant read into starting out on astroimaging. Which includes using a Canon camera. This book IMHO is invaluable. There IS a steep learning curve into astrophotography and this book helps you understand it's pitfalls and points you in the right direction to setting up, capturing & processing your images.cheersSteve
astrofox
I would echo that on the book. The Canon is a great camera for AP. Good luck
