Ikea observing stool

Being the dutiful husband I am I was passing Ikea and I had to buy some candles for my wife , i noticed they have the adjustable stool in that's ideal for people with Dobs below 12 inch. €16. Can't Go wrong!

Here's some pics of my own one, lowered and raised, easily adjusted by just spinning the seat. I have a Velcro-ed cushion on it , removed here.

Just noticed it wasn't fully lowered there, in case anyone thought there was little adjustment. The difference is just perfect.

I've got an Ikea thingy which is really a bicycle saddle mounted on a tripod with a mountain bike quick realease on it. I've had it for about 12 years, it has lived outside, and marches on. They stopped making them before I could buy ten of them.

(I remember as an NHS buyer getting a safety warning about a pedestal stool which was prone to break and impail the sitter. I passed it on to a colleague who had just received a request for a new stool from a particularly obnoxious senior colleague...) I always did wonder...
