Just been checking the latast videos from the GONG site ( Mauna Loa )

There's a massive forest-like prom on the limb at 8 'o' clock position , guessing there must be something pretty big producing it . . . ?

SDO Intensitygram shows a small spot appeared there overnight , but I think there's more just round the corner . . .

Bodes well for the coming week methinks , weather permitting of course . . .

The new prominence is showing real potential tonight, as shown on Gong. It could be really good tomorrow. Pity I can't look tomorrow, I will be too busy at work.

Nothing showing spot-wise in that area yet , but a decent sized one arriving at the 9:30 position.
