Stellarium and Comet PANSTARRS

Hi

Have just downloaded the latest version of Stellarium (0.11.4) but still cannot get it to locate Comet PANSTARRS - is there something else I need to download to view the present location? Has anyone else been able to use Stellariun for this? Doesn't seem to have a 'comet' button to tick on either.

Any help would be appreciated

Richard you may find this website handy - it will give you the up to date information that you require. It is also useful for other comets as well.

Select Configuration menu - Plugins - Solar System menu - configure - solar system and follow to download the latest MPC list of comets or asteroids. It should then be available in the Search menu.

Don't forget to use the correct designation C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) or it won't find it.
