Thank's for the tip Olly.

It is dark where I live at at 1700 meters in the Italian Alps.

I live in the sticks away from the two nearby villages so no light pollution.

Sounds like a great site- darkness is all very good but a bit of altitude gets you above a lot of the atmospheric crud. Great image btw.
