Showrooms or shops?

Hi all,

Apologies if this is already covered, but I can't find anything on it. Does anyone know of any showrooms I can visit to view equipment before I buy? The bigger selection the better!

I have visited the Nature and astronomy centre, however these are closed for refurbishment at the moment. After looking at eye pieces for a week from pictures online, I would prefer to go into a shop and actually see what I am buying.

i live in the Essex area, and don't mind travelling too far, Internet searches have not returned any results.

Yup a trip to the Widescreen Center just off Baker Street seems in order. Better still pop along to the monthly Baker Street Irregular Astronomers observing group and you'll get to actually use the gear you intend buying

Doesn't Telescopehouse have a shop/showroom in Kent? Tunbridge Wells springs to mind.
