A quick view of AR 1654

Hadn't looked at Sol for a while and managed to grab a brief view whilst it was between nearby buildings. It's certainly in need of lots of Clearasil.

Not sure it was worth imaging being so low but I did get some captures of a few areas. Most weren't that great, but this one of AR1654 was the best of the bunch.

Taken through the PST with my B/W modified SPC900NC and a 2 x Celestron Ultima Barlow. A bit of jiggery pokery in Photoshop so that I can pretend I am good at solar imaging

A nice close up of the big sunspot group. Lucky you to get a clear spell in the weather, it might be the last for a couple of days.
