Hi, I have found a site called Lyra optics in Rochdale, they have circle t orthoscopics for £55 of Chinese manufacture. Is anyone familier with this site, does it sound ok, lm a novice at this

lyra optics are a good site - run by glen who is a nice man - some of us have bought stuff off him. The circle t orthos at £55 are made in japan and are very good. I have no experience of the cheaper chinese ones he is also selling.

The circle t are a solid choice though. What telescope would you be using them with?

I'm sure you realised it is a Tal 100rs. I suffer from sausage finger syndrome

Yes - thats a nice telescope - something like a 7mm or 9mm circle t would work very well for planets and lunar 7mm would give you x142 and 9mm x111

I have paid a visit to Lyra optics,your right, Greg is very pleasant. I bought a 18mm & a 12.5mm circle T orthascopic. I already have a plossle 25mm & a 6.5mm. Hopefully these will keep me going for a while, if the sky ever clears.

that's a sound investment - also good to have a supplier close to you. I've just got a 6mm circle t so waiting for the clouds to part to!
