LXD55 Mount Aux Information please

Hi all, Probably a stupid question i know, but I have just a week ago bought a meade LXD55 goto mount. Now as far as I can find out so far i plug the computer into the spare port on the autostar hand controller to get the mount up and running using my AA5 software. So what would the Aux port on the mount it's self be for. Any input would be most interesting thanks.

The LXD55 Manual says: Provides connection for current and future Meade accessories. See OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES page 38.

Quick look at Page 38 and I guess that the Off Axis Guider is the most obvious choice.

aux on my lxd-75 I have a GPS plugged into it.

Hi there that would be even better redbird does that just plug in and play as such, and what gps device do you use on it. It would make life a bit easier.
