canon 300d drivers windows 7??

can anyone help im cant get my usb to talk from my 300d to my coputer do i need drivers?

The 300D will not work with Windows 7. Canon stopped updating the windows drivers for this camera

"Dutch Canon support reacted really fast and suggested to go to the menu on the Camera, select a tap (on mine the last tap) where you get the "communications" item

change this from "normal" to ptp and off you go.

that only allow files to be transferred, it doesn't allow the user to control the camera remotely, unless someone knows different?
