Clear skies to rain in 60 seconds!

Just popped into the garden to get some slugs for our Slowworms supper and noticed that the skies were clear.

Up to the obsy, turn on PC, star the cameras, roll back the roof.....I'd just took the Bahtinov mask off when I noticed a few clouds sneaking up, and with a rare flash of genius I decided to temporarily park the scope and roll the roof shut.

No sooner had the latch gone down when it starts pelting with rain! Sooooo close to getting an already damp obsy quite a lot damper!

Same here tonight in Shropshire, nice clear skies then 5 mins later rain, then back to clear skies then rain again. Can't win!

I wanted to set my camera up to do a time lapse all night but the flippin intermittent rain has stopped that, I get VERY few chances to go outside in the evening/early hours as is
