Great image, lots of detail.

Ref the noise discussions here, I always try to de-noise before sharpening, either a despeckle or mild lens blur. This helps when stacking small numbers of frames, ie <1500.

I find Winjupos RGB combine seems to give a smoother appearance than combining RGB in say Maxim or Photoshop.

Winjupos is a great tool. I'm hooked now.

In an effort to kill some time on Xmas day I had another go at working with this data, trying to strike a balance between smoothness and detail. So here is the latest version:

It would be nice to have a chance to get some more data before Jupiter gets too far away...

Nicely done Chris! Processing on Xmas day is what I call dedication! Weather is a nightmare with time running out for that great shot of Jupiter but one remains hopeful the New Year will bring clear sky lol
