Hi Matt and welcome to the forum. Scopes that are on offer at the entry price point in themselves are pretty good but in my experience it's the mounts that come with them that undermine their performance unfortunately. Lets hope you can get a nice run of clear evenings to get out there to put your new scope through its paces - its certainly great value for money.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I've just received my stumpy 2x Barlow lens and as a few of you have mentioned the clouds have made themselves very comfortable above my viewing area. Hoping to get a peek at the slither of moon this eve but not looking good at the moment...maybe tomorrow.
