Laser Collimator - Now its broken, now it ain't!

Recommended Posts

I was trying to change the batteries on my GSO laser collimator. Made a hames of it and pulled the small unit containing the laser diode out of the housing slightly by mistake. It basically threw it right out of collimation. Thought that was that. The diode had two rubber rings on the outside and when this was pushed into the housing, the three screws then allowed me to collimate the laser. Took a few minutes but was really relieved to find I didn't need to buy a new one. Very simple really.

Though it might help someone
