Upgrade advice

I have a few questions, firstly is it possible to do planetary imaging with a Dobsonian mounted telescope?

Secondly considering their value for money would a Dobsonian 200 be suitable for planetary imaging or would something like this:

I'm currently using with some success an Celestron Astromaster 130EQ for imaging, but i feel I'm reaching the limit of the light gathering ability of that scope.

Any advice appreciated.

David.

For exclusive planetary work I think a higher focal length scope is to prefer, but as an allround scope the 200p is good, it's possible to get alteast jupiter with a dob, even if you have to push it around a bit.

The EQ-5 is a decent mount, but if you plan on motorizing it the 200p might be a bit too heavy if you want to start shooting DSO's later.
