Zenit (Russia) makes a decent and very cheap line of mechanical cameras, some with TTL metering. All you are looking for, really, is the body and shutter, and theirs are fine. I used to own one.

One of the originals WH,made to withstand the odd run over by a steamroller :D

I have an Olympus OM1n - excellent camera - mirror lock up , focus screen changed to clear glass - makes focussing easy , remote shutter release , don't think it uses battery power to keep the shutter open ( battery is for the exp meter)

If anybody wants it I am prepared to to sell it for a nominal price.
