bokeh
I was out with my Electron AstroMaster 130EQ last night and I attempted to capture get Mizar and Alcor as an image. I'm not sure why, but I was able to find the two in the eye piece, then when it came to observing through the webcam, they weren't there. I know that a webcam isn't the best camera for DSO's but its all I have until Christmas. So anyway, I took around a minute of footage of the area I had my scope on and stacked it to get this image:What do you think? I know it isn't great but I'm pleased considering I took this with a webcam.
bokeh
You're going to have to click on the image to be able to see any stars.

Gina
They're too uniform for stars - I think they're hot pixels, I'm afraid. Sorry

RogerTheDodger
just put it down as a learning experience. Have a go at some planetary and moon images and you will soon build up to other things.
