What to see tonight ? Help please

Just got in sky looks great, First night out for months. Can't find my books !!

Panic. Put the scope out to cool down,what shall I look for tonight ? (apart from Jupiter about 11pm

Whatever you decide to look for....... make sure you see it before the Moon comes up. It pretty much washed out most DSO's last night.

Double Cluster, M45, M31 I've just had a look at these, come in now to have my dinner.

When I go out again I'll be looking at the Auriga clusters and M35, must catch the transit of Io, starts at 9.52 to night.

BTW Moon rise at 7.35 this evening.
