remote backyard imaging

My M12 LX200 is working again after a good dryout indoors and replacement main to 18VDC power unit! Due to its excessive weight it awaits some family helper to reinstall in obsy!

However much as I like to be next to scope and laptop and see the images download in realtime, I'm finding at my age the cold too much to cope with and considering working in the warm from indoors 30m away from obsy - is this possible?

My two cams [main imager and e-finder/guider] are both USB powered. I've separate mains power for scope. My 1.6m DIY dome is very lightweight and rather than motorising it [major mods!] I'm considering lifting it off completely via a cantilever arm onto an adjacent flat roof during observing sessions. Any thought?
