Registax 6 dark frames

Hello,

I noticed that you can generate a dark frame from a dark avi on registax. Then subtract it from your light avi.

I was just wondering if you should apply the same wavelets to the dark frame as you do to the actual stacked light image?

Hi James,

After looking at registax I think I was a bit quick to post this, you load the dark frame before you get to doing wavelets etc to your light anyway.

Yes, the clouds are looking good for my first jupiter/moon with the point grey firefly tonight.
