hahaha, I know cold mate, I used to do a lot of sea fishing from beach and shore. Casting a five ounce lead into the teeth of a northwesterly gale teaches you all about cold, lol.

Moisture wicking base layers followed by thinner layers trapping air for insulation and on the outside a breathable wind proof layer like Gore-Tex. most importantly keep your head, hands and feet warm and you'll stay nice and toasty.

I use to live in northern Canada where I had hand made mukluks and caribou clothes that enabled me to sleep in the snow at -40•C

Now at minus twenty I smile and soldier on. :-)

Just don't bundle up too tightly your hands or feet and if you can use a windbreak do so.
