Not bad for hand held - I notice the camera has kept the noise down well, so I guess a low ISO?

Thanks for the comments. ISO was 400. TBH i left it set to auto. lol. Only got the camera a couple of weeks ago. I know its quite old but i have been impressed with the photos it has taken so far. Only cost me £150 with a 18-70mm lens, a lowpro carry bag and memory card.

I know its not the camera of choice for astrophotography stuff but i am intending on having a go and see what happens.
