Decent budget camera

Not strictly astronomy related, but SWMBO has asked for a camera for xmas.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a point and shoot camera for under £150?

It needs to be decent in the dark as she goes to a lot of concerts and have a decent optical zoom facility.

It is more than your budget, but for decent low light performance you want a DSLR (good for astro use too). But DSLRs are worse than point at shoots for zoom ability - the bigger the sensor, the less zoom range you have but the better your low-light performance is.

You can pick up a canon 1100D body for 250 pounds or so, then you need lenses... :-(

Yeah, SLR is out, not so much the cost, but she needs something smaller.
