EQ3 pro slewing speed

Hi guys

I managed to get out last night with my new explorer 150p on EQ3 pro.

I found the mount was pretty much spot on with the goto and I had excellent views of the Andromeda galaxy, the ring nebula, the dumbell nebula and delta Lyra.

What I did find time consuming was the three star alignment due to the slow skewing speed when doing this. Is there a way of increasing the slewing speed while doing the alignment?

You can change the slewing speed by selecting the rate button on the handset and then pressing a key between 1 and 9, 9 is the fastest and 1 the slowest, this will not effect the tracking rate that the scope tracks the target

Do you mean the slewing speed to the star once selected or the manual slewing speed when you're trying to centre the star in the fov with the handset??...I don't think you can change the first but the second...as above
