Rosette Nebula

Recommended Posts

I set my phone camera settings to ISO 800 and Exposure +2 and took this picture where I think is the Rossette Nebula and i followed the stars exactly as Stellarium.

As you can see there is a red "mist" so is this the nebula?

Thanks

It tends to be a vague red mist, quite often just a grey image, however is the question imaging as you would have a better response from the Getting started with Imaging area I suspect.

The problem is that what the eye sees and what a camera sees are different so the question is what?

Is it what was I looking at, or what was I imaging.

Do you therefore want ideas on seeing it better, filter, or imaging it better.
