Shot 300 to give myself a fighting chance in the boiling conditions , selected 97 and stacked 47 , had to align manually because Uncle Reg was having "one of those days"

A little growth in the new regions and the merest hint of a newcomer at the "half-eight" position . . .

Well done Steve! It looks like it is fast becoming quite featureless, so not to bothered I didn't have have sun today (he lied through clenched teeth)

Nice one Steve, lots of detail in there. There is quite a big prominence coming from that group in the 8 o'clock position, see the following post for a pic taken at the same time as you.

I hope it wasn't as windy in Newmarket as it was here, you would have got blown off your ladder today. My scope nearly blew over on it's tripod!

Excellent! doesn't seem to be many spots in the big patch of faculae in the north east, I guess that's a degrading patch.
