My first use of my new SPC900. Much better result than previously. I need to work on scale now and focusing.

I tried with 2 barlows but wasn't happy with the result. I need to try that again.

Good work, what scope do you use?

I use a Celestron Astromaster 130EQ.

Its not the best but it's good for a beginner like me!

a 3x barlow would then give you F/15 and that should work fine. What software do you use for capturing? When focusing, it can help to max the gain so that jupiter gets really overexposed. Then you adjust the focus until you get a sharp edge at the planet.

I use sharpcap for capturing. Will have another go soon. I have two 2x barlows which should give somewhere in the region of F20, however I've not had enough practice yet!!

I think I should maybe capture more than a 1000 frames next time too. See if I can get some more quality...
