Thanks for the welcomes and the advice about the book. Do you know if it has much on afocal imaging, which is all I can do with my current setup. 15 seconds is my maximum exposure.

Is the Celestron Nexstar series suitable for deep sky imaging? I didn't think the mount would be smooth enough if I do get a camera with longer exposures.

I was mainly expecting to be able to do planets and clusters.
