Swadlincote - Newhall in UK Astronomers?

Hi

I was just wondering if any members live in the area around Swadlincote, Newhall or Woodville area in the UK?

I am reletively new to Astronomy and would appreciate any hands on help with my current setup, I wish to do a lot of Astro Photography but I keep failing on small issues.

Hi Rambler and welcome to SGL

Take a look at social groups - in there you'll find the East Mids local stargazers. Leave a brief intro and the folks will say hi and give you details of when and where we meet. It's a very active group and we have our own website for arranging observing meetings and social ocassions. We also do block bookings for all the major star parties and astro events - and hold periodic talks and presentations every quarter..

Very friendly bunch many of whom are well into astro imaging - and right on your doorstep
