Tonight's M45 raw mono.. using PI to create flats.

First time out in an age.. this is a raw basic stack with just PI's auto-background and divide to provide "flats" as my panel cable snapped (new inverter needed). I'll get back to this and remove some noise.. perhaps use this as additional data onto my previous attempt at M45 last year.

I'll get some darks tomorrow.. and play with it..

I also had a quick pop at M57 (again!) and ngc660..

Good start - I can see a lot more detail in there that could be brought out by processing

I agree with Gina theres some more data in there to be teased out, seems you captured a good deal of nebulosity in there.

Took the data from Jan'11 too (LRGB but max 5 minutes) and used the new 6x10minutes as lum.

Some serious stretching later..
