AR1589 is the most active region on the disc, although there looks to be some upcoming activity roatating around on the eatern limb.

Nice. Are these with your double stack? Your PST certainly seems to be one of the better ones, not suffering as much with the small sweetspot. Do you use a flat field or do you find you don't need one?

yes this was with the ds. sometimes prefer my pst without it though, less noise around the edges and i can never get quite as clear of a focus with the ds. I haven't done any flat fielding yet. I usualy just apply a noise-median fliter in PS, and photomerge seems to blend very well.

Great images. I can imagine that the DS is harder than a single stack. Still if you get plenty of sun it gives you more time to fiddle. We will all be looking to you for advanced warning of some good views in the weeks to come as the sun seldom makes an appearance over here, especially this far north.
