Set up my scope and camera tonight jeez it's freezing cold :shock: That moon Glow is bit of a pain imaging wise but i can read a Magazine whilst taking images

cold in wigan to just set up the 5" apo to look at saturn it been out side for about 3 hrs so should be ready to go .

Mild here. It's -1. I just took the dog out and find that the sky is clear at the moment. I have to take a bunch of Cubs toboganning tonight, and the little bu- er, angels will probably keep me out until it clouds up. If they don't, I'll haul the scope out. It's only supposed to drop to -3 tonight, but they are suggesting -9 for tomorrow night. Brisk, that!

It was -2 here in London.

There was an annoying amount of cloud. Little enough to encourage you to think that observing was worth the effort but just too much so that you couldn't spend a long time on any one object.

When I left Reading the sky was beautifully clear and the Moon was low and bright over the M4.

I did consider taking some photos but the seeing was very poor.
