could some one see if these are ok, i was having issues with it taking too long to calibrate so i changed the calibration steps to 8000 its now quick but im not sure what this has done, im running ED80 WITH A ST80 FOR GUIDING any advice would be great

You want to set the cal step so that calibration is completed in 10-15 steps. 8000 looks a bit high. Your RA max duration also look a bit low, I think the default is 1500.

thanks freddie if 8000 is high then 22000 was really high thats what the default was on mine :S

Mine is set at 900 but am using a DMK21 on the St80

Just started to use the QHY5 and using the info from here it has gone very well, holding the star well and I am suprised at what I can see on screen, thanks for the info .
