K3CCDTools and EOS450D

Does anyone have any experience of how to use a Canon 450D with K3CCDTools. The manual has no info, however the software has Canon EOS listed in the settings, but there is no info on port settings or whether Live View can be used. So far I have not been able to make any sense of it.

Can you please offer a solution.

I can't find anything relating to the 450D. K3ccdtools is able to control EOS cameras up to the 400D via a shoestring astronomy DSUSB module so maybe it might work directly without the DSUSB for the 450D onwards.

You may have more success controlling your Canon with APT or BYEOS.

You may have more success controlling your Canon with APT or BYEOS.

It would be an easier option to use APT or BYEOS.
