ST80 case

Hey,

Do any of you ST80 owners have a good suggestion on a travel protection case for the ST80?

I was wondering if Maplins do a flight case like the eyepiece case that everyone seems to buy (including myself) that fits the ST80 and its various parts.

Or if someone has found a good supplier of foam lined cases that could house the scope without breaking the bank.

I think the ST80 is just too big for the Maplins case - you could try musical instrument case suppliers, maybe something like a trumpet case would fit?

says internal is 440cm, i just measured my st80 with the caps on and its about 430 by my measure.. thats a sliver of space either side. Or I could try packing it corner to corner?

actually just confirmed again and it measured 410. I think this is probably the ticket, worth a punt at 25 quid.

I have my ST80 in that exact case and it fits perfectly.

I'm a bit late to the party, granted, but this was just what I was looking for! Thanks very much
