CGEM reliability or NEQ6

Hi at present I have a celestron C6 on a CG-5 mount and to date it has served me well. However I am now thinking of upgrading both mount and tube. I think I will be getting the C9.25 tube and have been looking into the Celestron CGEM mount to go with it. Looking around the internet I have found a few people saying that the CGEM mount it not always reliable and not as tried and tested as the NEQ6 mount which is the other mount I am looking at. Is there any users of the CGEM mount out there that have had any problems with them. Your feedback on this would be very useful for me to make up my mind about which mount to opt for. I should point out my interest is mainly in astrophotography so I need a good quality robust mount to support two scopes.

Regards

John
