Got taken by surprize by a clear night last night so I ended up back in Cygnus for this one. 7 x 20 min subs in Ha.

How do you remove the stars??

Save the star version then set Dust and Scratches filter - radius to grab as many stars as poss and Threshold to just below touching the nebula, leaving a few star remnents, then dust and scratches again lowering the radius by 2 and threshold by 2 or 3...repeat until radius =1 and threshold = 2 or 3. Save then load the star version and copy to a layer on the top, set the blend mode to darken
