APT - What am I doing wrong?!

Hi,

I must be doing something daft but can't think what it is! I have Caph centred in live view but when I go to zoom in to focus with the Bahinov it disapears! It must be soemthing very basic as I have never had it before. I did a trial tonight without my clip in LPF and zoomed in and focused fine. Now I have put the filter back in I just can't zoom in on the star.

Can you point me in the right direction?!

Do you need a longer exposure? Once you've selected live view, try changing the exposure length or ISO setting down towards the bottom right of the screen to increase the exposure or raise the ISO setting. Perhaps that will help.

Think I've got it now. Definately having one of those nights, nothing going right tonight!

I've noticed you have to make sure the "Target" mode is set to off (the crosshair icon) so you get the zoom rectangle and centre it on the star. Caught me out too!
