I used to live on the corner of New King Street (where the museum is) and Charles Street (the main road) so was a frequent visitor (I even took the missus there on our second date :D). I loved the fact that it was his home too. To be able to go in his back garden and see where he observed from was inspiring! I'm sure the light pollution in Bath was better back then.

Hope you enjoyed it.

i went with my grandmar and mother a proper family day and i was worried that they wouldn't enjoy it but they loved it and my grandmar came alive with the cooker (cast iron i think) she had had 1 as a kid and had many great story's and info but because it was his house and it was as it was you can almost see them living their day to day lives very intelligent people and inspiring.
