If you look in "Turn Left at Orion" 4th ed., there is a daily guide to the Moon's features. I've been following the waning Moon and it's now day 8.

I've managed to find the indicated landing sites and most of the dorsa, wrinkle ridges and rills mentioned. The terminator last night was half way across the Appenine Mountains with some dramatic cut off peaks.

I did some poor drawings at x200, it was super clear and super stable, tasty,

Nick.

Ive seen this in my copy TLAO, may have to look at it, i'm focussing all my viewing time at the messiers at the minute, finding new and visiting my favorite ones. Just done a bit of lunar viewing now as well, only noticed it as i was viewing the sun. Was barely viewing through scope but nice through the finderscope.
